Grandma and Grandpa used go to see big bands at Valley Dale in Columbus. Sometimes they'd even see them at Cedar Point. They took the kids up to the Lake Erie and Cedar Point too. Years later, Mike bought a cabin up by the lake that is now a great place to spend time by the water.

Other trips have involved going down to Pinckney Colony, Grandma's home in South Carolina. In recent years, the Moore women have travelled to Switzerland and Israel.
